~the apartment
~the lawn in front of Royce Hall
~not having drama
~being able to understand what's being said to me
~the San Diego library
~midnight tea drinking with my girls while an episode of Gilmore Girls is on
~driving a car
~being able to leave my stuff in the bathroom
~BJ's
~walking into town
~not hearing "yeah baby, suck it" from perverts when I drink from the water fountain
~the UCLA campus in the middle of the night
~my family. My sister and my brother and my mom and my dad and my dog.
~Eta the cat
~knowing my way around
~standard booklists
~Professor Allen
~having all the ingredients when I want to cook something
~not having sand on the floor all the time
~being able to make money

I'm sorry. I should probably delete this. I just...had a really, really bad night. I want to curl up somewhere safe for the next couple days, but safe is a continent away and I'm here, existing.

You flush it yourself to not get caught by the cops, usually *lol* Although I don't know, with some of the ways drugs are supposed to smuggled I *guess* you could lose it in the toilet...

I'm sorry. It's hard to be thrown out of your element without much of a transition. You can't expect yourself to adapt to strange surroundings, new people and foreign customs overnight.

With that said, I think you're doing a bang-up job, just the same. Maybe not every day is tea and crumpets, but I think you're making the best of it by learning what you can and meeting new people. You are a very capable person and I believe in you. <-- that last sentence is unconnected, I just like to remind you of that every now and again to make sure you know how I feel.

Besides, no matter what happens, you'll come back in no time, where there is a long line of people waiting for you.
